Consultant Specialist referrals

Are you finding it difficult to get referred to a specialist consultant?

Although it was never the intention of Templar Medical to offer referrals to other medical and surgical specialties David was increasingly asked if he could do so by individuals and organisations who were experiencing difficulties with regard to referral via the GP route. The reasons ranged from problems in obtaining a GP appointment, to excessive waiting times for specialist referrals or even a refusal to refer.

David has been fortunate enough to work with other consultants from other specialties (many of which he knew from medical school and throughout his professional life). Therefore, prompted by his patients, he began to offer referrals to individuals who were experiencing difficulties; although he always encouraged them to use the GP process in the first instance.

Over years the demand for referrals began to grow and Templar Medical built a small but select network of the very best consultants in the UK, whose focus is on the patient and who share the same ethos as David, to deliver the best care possible in a manner that suits the individual not the doctor.
